Dan for Mayor

It's a Canadian show...but worth catching, rather amusing show about a chap who says he'll run for mayor when his ex says she is getting married and his bluff gets called so he runs and the only other candidate dies.

Parenthood

Bit more serious than I thought it would be, but rather good, about a family, very mixed bunch of people in the family.

Is that the one that was going to have Abby out of ER in before she got ill? What channel is it on? I quite fancied that but haven't seen it advertised

That's the one. That's why it got delayed until now. It's was on NBC at 10:00pm last night. I'm not sure if that's it's regular spot though.

That's the one...they had to reshoot the first few episodes with the replacement.

Adverts have been doing the rounds around here, dvr'ed it so not sure when it's on, but around here I think it was 9pm....being repeated to buggery though so I'm sure you'll find it

Looking forward to watching premiere of the US version of Who Do You Think You Are tomorrow night. Sarah Jessica Parker is the first case.

NBC, I must try and remember that's on.

I swear they said in the promo that her gr grandmother was a witch in Salem. I hope they don't mean during THE Salem witch trials. SJP is starting to look a bit stringy but didn't think she was that old!

The Pacific?

Anyone catch that? On last night apparently, but missed it.

Style of Band of Brothers, but obviously on a different front.

Don't have HBO but was at a friends house that does so I got to watch it. Very much in the same style as Band of Brothers (but then it was done by Spielberg and Hanks again). That being said it looks very different because it was being fought in the South Pacific. It follows 3 Marines although not in the same unit, but fought in the same places.

If you liked Band of Brothers, you would enjoy this.

Anyone else catch the new show "Justified" on FX last night?

Starring Timothy Olyphant as a Marshall (or was it a Sherriff?) sent back to his hometown in Oklahoma as punishment. He has to fight crime and deal with various people from his past, all the while looking gorgeous in a stetson (no easy task!)

Was pretty good. I'll definately be watching more.

I dvr'ed it...looked like it might be alright, so we'll see.

Plenty of shows that came back that probably shouldn't, Trauma for a start, but I'm still compelled to watch rubbish

New show on HBO, muscians getting on with life after Katrina...

Don't know what to think of this, sounded kind of interesting, was a 2 hour start, didn't see the whole thing, have it DVR'ed and will watch the rest later, but anyone else catch it?
