The Following....well I'm still watching it, not sure what to think of it though. The premise for it is a bit shit and the characters aren't very believable and I don't think it's all that good, but it's good enough to give bit more of a chance.
Do No Harm...bit of a J&H doctor by day, split personality monster by night. Just sounds a bit meh and well the first episode wasn't all that compelling, but ended with enough hit of a back story that could be interesting. Worth a couple more episodes at least...and the main chap is annoyingly familiar.
Also, we saw a episode of Canada's Handyman Challenge, really cheesy reality show, to find a handyman, but surprisingly quite amusing. They're so easy going, yet serious, over what is really quite a shite prize

Anyone catch The Americans...about 2 Russian spies? Don't know what to make of it...I'll stick with it for another couple of episodes.

Yes, we watched the Americans. I'm reserving judgement for another episode. Two Russian spies and their children who find themselves living next door to an FBI agent.

The characters are a little implausible. As if the FBI agent would come straight out and tell a stranger what type of agent he is.

New show from Canada, will be in the US in the summer...it's a cop drama, but more around the why rather than the who done it, as the episodes start out revealing the victim and the killer.
Produced by folks who worked on Dexter and The Mentalist, so am intrigued by this.

Gave up on Following and Ripper Street after two episodes. Got hooked on Revenge but second series is loosing the plot.
Downton is consistently good and just about the only show that i can watch again a few days later and enjoy all over again. Good acting , writing, production etc etc.
Anyone watching Insp banks I have it on dvr but not seen it yet

I'm quite enjoying Ripper Street and Insp. Banks.
Although they have made Banks an angry character where he wasn't in the books, it's still watchable.

Ripper, is a bit daft but the slowly introduced bit of a back story could be interesting...

Banks seems to be one story per episode.

I quite like DCI Banks...but I find Midsommer and Lewis a bit tedious. Silent Witness is becoming a bit of a struggle to get through too.
