Try "Total Blackout" on sy-fy - that is some pure psychological evil going on there, but very funny.

However, hard to put my finger on its weakness.....
Maybe this season, it is trying to paint a broader canvas, bigger scale; but, the theatrical style, works better when it is more claustrophobic, like in the Ludus.

The Tiberius kid reminds me of the old Dr. Who assistant, Adric.

Agree with others though, that it just isn't quite the same and doesn't have quite the same kind of charm now they're on the road as it were. Be interesting to see how it turns out.
Anyway, been watching Arctic Air, Canadian show, second series is a few episodes in, about a tiny little freight line trying to survive in the arctic boonies.
It's pretty daft and senseless, but very charming and amusing. Light entertainment that's a nice show but not very flashy or spectacular. Kind of reminds me of early afternoon entertainment.
Worth a punt for those who get it.
