But of new shows, that one that is going to replace Desperate House Wives, CGP? Can't remember what it was called, looked pretty cheesy and meh but the missus really wants to watch it :/

Is this a generic remake of Holmes, or a specific remake of the Cumberbatch iteration?

It stands for Good Christian Bitches.
If that's not an indication of the cheese factor, I don't know what is!

Thanks, After a bit of IMDBing I see it is going to be called 'Elementary'. So many of these remakes do not get passed the script stage or pilot, like 'The IT Crowd', and those that make it are disappointing like 'Life on Mars', but I will keep an eye out for it, and give it a go.

Is anyone still watching The Walking Dead? It's a bit up and down.

I'm still watching it.
I'm not really liking this second series nearly as much as the first. I'm waiting till they get to the prison, well according to the comic, that's when it gets good again.
Anyway, "King", Canadian cop drama, back for a second series...really good drama we thought, so kind of excited to see it back.

No, I gave up a long time ago.
In my stupidity I am still watching The River.
Its crap because I know there is not going to be any proper explanation. Each week they just pick something weird to happen, linked by something unknown that is 'unifying' all the magic.
When I was a kid this kind of stuff was good, because I did not know if ghost, ghouls and unicorns were real or not, as I am no longer much in doubt regarding such things there is little room for scaring or freaking me out. Pity really.

That sounds good, I love that expression
I got hooked on Doc Martin, a bit cheesy but 'lite' viewing when you need it. I also discovered Martin Clune's other show 'William and Mary' which I'm completely addicted to. William and Mary are both single parents in London, he's a straight laced funeral director, she's a straight talking Scottish midwife who meet and fall in love. I love the medical side of it along with all the London scenes and parenting stuff.
It might be more of a female thing but my husband loves it too.
