As someone who has become close to being a modern-urban-middle-class type myself, some of the sketches are a bit too close for comfort. The parenting ones mainly. And the hipster ones for when I was younger.

OK watched it.

I found it disappointing. Weak gags and all seemed pointless.

I did. Had to question my husband about whether the f-word is really used that much in the workplace here, as it was quite Tourettesy in a British sort of way. It seemed like a "vehicle" for Julia Louis Dreyfus, like Episodes was for Matt Leblanc. Quite amusing, I`m always interested in US/UK crossover things.
Has anyone seen "The Bridge"?
I`m hooked on these Danish series, in fact anything European with subtitles.

The female assistant who kept effing and blinding (or effing and effing) seemed most uncomfortable doing so.

I haven't see the Bridge - did you get it on Netflix? I want to see that as well as the original Killing.

I have not seen it on Netflix. In fact I have not been able to source a version with English subs without buying the DVD set (which I am not prepared to do on a few good reviews)

One problem is with it having so many names :Bron/Broen/Bridge

edit: this got me looking again - its finally on UK TV (BBC 4)
