We're enjoying that too, must say we have loved all the UK dramas lately, Luther, Whitechapel, but my favorite by a mile was Case Histories thought it was so well done and Isaacs
was fantastic, I'm missing not watching it and there were only 3 of them.
Hope Kate Atkinson sells the rights on so they can do lots more TV and we don't have to wait for everytime she writes a book.
I'm not sure what the winning recipe is for good drama in the UK that doesn't work in the US. Everything is so nicely paced, somebody doesn't always have to be speaking, and you can work the story out as it goes along rather than having to wait until the last 5 minutes to find out what the hell is happening.

Though that last point is likely to change now that shows can do product placements

The one I still don't get is shooting Leverage in Portland, OR and pretending it's Boston, MA. Why not just set it in Portland? Grimm manages with it.

There's another series that was announced a short while back, not sure when it's out, but I think early next year.

But it is daft as most of it is pretty obviously not Boston. At least when Fringe did it, there were some parts that were at least of Boston, if not of the state.

The other night I thought, let's see what all the fuss is about then as they had 4 episodes on "On Demand"....and I sat there and watch all 4 episodes!!!!
It was great
(the first episode was missing from the 1st season one, but it didnt matter)
