UK currently has 'prize' creme eggs, buy one and find NO GOO filling, and you could win up to £1000. There are also going to be 'pop-up' creme egg cafes, tea and coffee will be free, and there are, supposedly, delicious Cadbury creations for you to buy

PB&J is the shit. I had had peanut butter in the UK, but usually only rarely because my mum didn't like it so never kept it in the house, but I eat it all the time here. It's actually a pretty efficient way of getting protein with relatively low carbs/calories provided you don't go overboard (obviously the bread and the jelly negate that, so I put it on celery instead, which is actually surprisingly good).

I wonder what your return on that prize would be. Knowing my luck I'd have to buy £1,001.00 worth of eggs just to win the cash :D

Two words.

Almond butter.

Much better than peanut.

When I was a kid, I got a creme egg that was empty. I didn't win/get £1000, but I did get angry :(

That's understandable.

They should do a solid chocolate one instead of an empty one. Along the same lines, the holy grail for me growing up was always getting a Kit Kat with no wafer in it.

I think Dove do/did an egg that was solid? could be wrong, but they did release something in the UK a while back.

Kit Kat chunky's were the best!

It'd be Galaxy in the UK though, wouldn't it?

You can get them out here. I think they call them Kit Kat Crispy, but it is essentially the same. Not easy to find though, but they get them in the vending machine at work quite a bit and I've seen them in garages.

KitKat BigKat would be the closest to a chunky.

That'll get you there, too. I was slightly wrong on the name (just checked the vending machine, shame I have no cash on me ...), they ones I am thinking of are Kit Kat Extra Crispy. Up in Canada they have a white chocolate version, too.

Remember when Crème eggs were a proper size... and one end was so thick in chocolate it was hard to bite through.

/those were the days.

People who bang on and on about British milk chocolate, which, when all is said and done, really isn't that good anyway.
