At nearly 17 our younger son is suddenly not at home 2 or 3 evenings out of 7, something to do with a member of the opposite sex from what we can gather (but they are "just friends"). Our elder son was a bit slower off the mark, but was hampered by the object of his affections spending her senior year in Germany. A 6 hour time difference and several thousand miles of separation made nipping out to spend the evening together less than easy. They were also "just friends" until they were within 3 miles of each other again.:rofl: |
