You see he would rather have chicken wings opposed to pizza. He would rather go out with friends opposed to staying in with us. He must have said it a couple of times recently as I have only just noticed - is this an American thing? or just him? Try to do it before he tells you he wants a Dr Pepper and sugar donuts for breakfast. If it has already got to that point then you have failed, sorry but that's life:( |

We've not even had Valentine's day yet, but already, the Easter stuff is out.

This is a good thing whatever the origin, embrace it. I can't get ours out of the house, even for 5 minutes, for love nor money. I'm starting to get worried we're going to be stuck with him until he's in his 30s.
At nearly 17 our younger son is suddenly not at home 2 or 3 evenings out of 7, something to do with a member of the opposite sex from what we can gather (but they are "just friends"). Our elder son was a bit slower off the mark, but was hampered by the object of his affections spending her senior year in Germany. A 6 hour time difference and several thousand miles of separation made nipping out to spend the evening together less than easy. They were also "just friends" until they were within 3 miles of each other again. |

To be fair though, your pizza is a pile of random stuff with sauce poured over 'em and a circle of dough laid on top.

Re: Pet Peeves?
Large jars of peanut butter, always being a little bit deeper than our knives.
Why aren't the jars a little bit wider rather than deeper? |

Not a very social food though as it's just not pleasant to watch someone else eat any. |
