I saw a great one of those yesterday. The so called journalist had apparently typed "pension" instead of "penchant". I just shook my head and muttered something about the youth of today.

That's poor checking and proof reading, but spell check and/or autocorrect can make those sort of changes, changing an incorrectly spelt uncommon word into a correctly spelt commonly used word.

A few years ago a local newspaper in NC reported an issue with the international space station toilet, and that NASCAR engineers were working to resolve the problem. :rofl:
