a) not a 'pile of crap' b) pimped in any way c) reliable, gets good gas mileage and cheap to maintain unlike my POS Ford. |

Guess I have been in Canada too long...lol
Milk is certainly not marked in quarts here. I love the milk bags you buy in Canada. My sister-in-law has a great jug that the bag slips into for pouring. |

Ice Cream is sold in quarts and gallons in the US. Probably most liquid products sold in supermarkets here are in quarts and gallons, i.e. orange juice.

I have never seen a Ford in the US that has fog lights, much less seen one driven with them turned on, even when I have visited Florida, and I own two Fords, so I am sorry, I have no idea what you're talking about.

Fog lights here in BC appear to most just to be extra head lights, it's rarely foggy yet you see fog lights all the time.
For the amount of rain we get, do wish people would turn their head lights on, day time running light don't cut it in heavy rain nor light the back of your car making your car difficult to see. Our car has no fog lights and haven't had one that did. Front fog lights are considered a design feature these days, and lots of people drive with them on. They are present on almost any 'sporty' or high end car, including mustangs ... http://s7d4.scene7.com/is/image/Turn...subcat250x187$ I don't find their abuse (use when not foggy) to be much of an issue, because they are typically aimed low. Rear fog lights, on the other hand, are an absolute distraction (when used in non-foggy conditions). I've been driving for 40 years and when I see a bright red light on the back of a car, my instinct is to brake. Following a guy with the rear fog light on drives me crazy as I have to keep telling myself he's not braking. I see them on mercs, volvos, maybe VWs. It's definitely a European affliction. |

Re: Pet Peeves?
I thought using front fog lights in CA is part of the well known 'small penis' clan.
Additional traits include fat exhaust the size of a drainpipe, lowered suspension that crushes your spine on every pothole, rims that stick out 4 inches from the wheel arch, a selection of badges that include, turbo, power, injection, Wanker, Raiders, Honda etc etc |
Re: Pet Peeves?
All the roundabouts near me have zebra crossings right next to them. Easy way to block the whole roundabout with one pedestrian. Luckily, Americans tend not to walk much so the crossings don't get used as much as they would in Britain, but it's a pain when they do.

Re: Pet Peeves?
The ones near me do as well. Luckily in this part of Canada most dont walk so hardly anyone ever crossing.
Using roundabouts here can be sketchy, most drivers dont know how to use one.
