My kids have free savings accounts at Wells Fargo. Fees are waived if the primary account owner is under the age of 18 - maybe the problem is that you set it up as a subsidiary of yours instead of setting it up as a totally separate account?

That's exactly what I did, just set up a separate savings account in my name without being told there would be a $12 fee if I didn't have more than $3500 in the account. They just asked me if I wanted to open a savings account and I just happened to be thinking of putting some savings aside for the little ones.

1st world problem incoming:

I put 75c into a car vacuum cleaner... only for the suction to follow incapable of lifting a dust particle. For the first 5 seconds I thought maybe there was a knob that would alter the suction... but no, it was just crap.

I hate when that happens. The car wash here has staff 10-6 so I try to go during those hours since they will refund when something doesn't work.

Although would like 75 cent vacuum cleaning if they worked that is. It's $3 for 3 mins here, they work well, but takes 6 mins generally to do the whole car.

I just use a shovel & wheelbarrow when I clean out the car.

Believe me, that was a pre-requisite to the attempted vacuuming.

I dread to think what the windscreen is/was like

The veterinarian, well veterinarians in general (some accept the fact dogs can eat raw meat.) who try and convince us their crappy kibble is best food ever right after praising how nice our dog looks, how healthy her skin and coat is, and her teeth near perfect, then learn she eats raw and tries to come up with excuses as to why it's bad....

Aah, the hallmark of someone forced to share their ride with kids!

I just use a shop vac, sucks up toys, food and whatever else you may find. Some things are more identifiable than others.

My vet encouraged us to try a raw diet. I was going to try it, then I realised that it would actually be cheaper for her to eat sirloin steak. That stuff is crazy expensive!

If we had a larger dog it would not be doable, but being she is 10 pounds, it's only slightly more then the kibble was. But if we had a 20+ pound dog, no way could we afford to feed raw.

The kibble we fed originally ran about $40 a month, the raw runs about $50/month. All prices in Canadian dollar.

Mine would cost in the region of $30/week

People who bug others about having kids or tell others you will regret it if you don't have kids.
