I think "sandwich" bags and ziplock bags are two different things.

Since when did you become an expert on kitchen supplies?

Half of my life is spent in the pursuit of sandwiches. :)

Ziploc is a brand, sandwich bag is one of the sizes of resealable storage bag. My sandwiches have always fit though. Could always go up to the quart sized bags though, I don't think there is one in between.

Now don't make the mistake I did once and grab 'snack' bags in haste. We ended up with a box of 150 utterly useless bags that were too small for anything. Took us ages to get through those.

Those are what we have here (labeled as "sandwich" bags though).

Now I just try to make sure that whatever box I buy either says 'sandwich' or has a picture of a sandwich on it. Bloody foolproof

How anyone keeps a sandwich long enough to require a bag is a mystery anyhow.

If I don't go buy the lunch sandwich at lunchtime, it tends to turn into a snack sandwich. :D

I'd suggest you make two but I can see that becoming a problem too.

No, a snack bag is only half the size of a sandwich bag, ..... therefore useless for sandwiches unless you count a single slice of bread cut in half and used to make "half a sandwich".

They did come in handy for bringing grapes and sweets into work though

I buy big bags of fruit and nut mix and separate them into the small snack bags so M doesn't sit and hog the whole bag all at once. Trouble is he just packs 3 or 4 of them in with his lunch anyway...problem not solved:o

We have done that on a smaller scale too, pack a smaller bag of trail mix and leave the big one at home.
