OK maybe not a peeve, just a couple of things i notice from my last few weeks in the UK. Didnt want to start a new thread.

I'm pretty sure you could get cheesy chips in the UK even before I left. The only difference was, when I got them (or made them at home), grated cheddar was used instead of the liquid cheese.

Yep, they were a classic mid afternoon breakfast when I was a student.
