Re: Pet Peeves?
Big pet peeve at the moment - brewery-restaurants
Particularly those that don't serve a sampler of several of their beers. A local brewery used to serve them, in its dingy but fun little cafe attached to the brewery. Since they moved to large and fancy premises, the price of food is immense now and the nearest they do to a sample is a 6oz beer that is overpriced. Won't be bothering with them any more. A certain other local brewery refuses to serve fries with any of their meals for some weird reason. It's not as if the food is worth visiting there for, but at least they have samplers. Only one of their beers is really worth getting anyway. I'd better check out the next brewery-restaurant I have on my list before it goes crap too. Good job there are plenty of breweries around to pick from. |

They also do not serve fries instead they just have potato wedges which they try and use in almost every meal served. Very annoying. |

We're having a similar day here. The last few days have been brutal with 90+ temps and high humidity.

Are you expecting a complimentary sampler or a reasonably priced sampler?
When you are a brewery, I expect to be able to try more than a couple of different beers and still be able to drive home. |

Non zero graphs (Y axis does not start with a zero at the bottom). They are so misleading, d@mn I hate them! :frown:
