Big pet peeve at the moment - brewery-restaurants
Particularly those that don't serve a sampler of several of their beers. A local brewery used to serve them, in its dingy but fun little cafe attached to the brewery. Since they moved to large and fancy premises, the price of food is immense now and the nearest they do to a sample is a 6oz beer that is overpriced. Won't be bothering with them any more.

A certain other local brewery refuses to serve fries with any of their meals for some weird reason. It's not as if the food is worth visiting there for, but at least they have samplers. Only one of their beers is really worth getting anyway.

I'd better check out the next brewery-restaurant I have on my list before it goes crap too. Good job there are plenty of breweries around to pick from.

Are you expecting a complimentary sampler or a reasonably priced sampler?

I have a Left Coast/Oggis (out of California) near me. They charge $7 for a full sampler but will let you sample one or two beers for free. They also do not serve fries instead they just have potato wedges which they try and use in almost every meal served. Very annoying.

At least you didn't mess the quotes up.

I don't expect free beer (although some places will offer me some), I'll happily pay $1-2 more than the price of a pint for four different 4oz beers, or five 3oz beers, etc.

When you are a brewery, I expect to be able to try more than a couple of different beers and still be able to drive home.

Non zero graphs (Y axis does not start with a zero at the bottom). They are so misleading, d@mn I hate them! :frown:

Yes! I'm with you on this. I had one today that 0.0001 difference steps on the y-axis so it looked like the results were all over the place as it didn't start at 0. When I zoomed out to a decent level, the graph was flat (which was what I was expecting). Had a bit of a panic before I realized the axes were screwed up!

I had thought algebra was bad.

Simple Cartesian graphs are just algebra presented graphically. :)
