I had one do this for a mile (I was doing 25 in a 25, knowing he was 2 inches off my rear end). ....
I had no idea what sort of screw ball was driving the vehicle and I had no intention of trying to find out how fast I would need to go to get him off my bumper, so I took my foot off the gas and let the speed drift back down. At that point he pulled out and passed me, on a blind bend, and as he passed me he turned his lights on. WTF he didn't turn them on early heaven only knows, I could have let him pass.

Anyway, todays peeve...toaster ovens and just how shit they are. They never seem to last. Our current one, it's not even a year and a half old and already it's taking forever to toast bread and impossible to bake anything. The only thing it's good at doing at the moment is broil. And while I mentioned the road works in town earlier, it's now currently worse. The section now randomly has a lane change where you're going one way around the roundabout and later in the day you're going the other way and as you're heading in from the other way, there's 3 lanes merging to one, but they keep changing which lane they allow but don't put a sign up till you hit the merge...plus on the new bit of road surface, there's a hole that you could get lost in. |

I'm guilty of that, but usually have the recipe I used when I made it.

If you've had it 18 months and it hasn't burnt your house down yet it obviously isn't working properly!

Mrs P does that too, and now she's collecting followers on Twitter too (unsolicited I must stress, they just added themselves to her Twitter feed). She already has two TV celebrity chefs among her followers and was engaged in a 1:1 exchange recently with one of them on the matter of drivers licences and car rentals.
