Re: Florida shooting
Especially when stacked up against tens of thousands of dead people every single year. If it weren't for them, I would mind less, but people fetishizing the gun as the underpinning of "freedom" in the face the most obvious downsides of how that has rolled out in the US are doing the rest of us a disservice.

Yup. Happiness is a warm gun.

But yeah, it's all a bit weird. I suppose I'm just one of those dirty outsiders who, despite being naturalized and paying my taxes, am just not allowed to have an opinion on it because I don't suck the shriveled, tired old cock of the NRA.
Oh well.

It's completely wrong that local governments and school officials were complicit in organizing this "grassroots" movement. There was pressure on these kids to participate in a political movement. They're being manipulated like pawns. It's disgraceful.
Why didn't they organize it on a Saturday? Or after school hours? Because most wouldn't show.
Gun control poster boy, attention whore and "survivor" (he was in a different building) David Hogg tweets "can't we just stop fighting between Democrats and Republicans?".
Facts_OverFeels replies "You're the one calling people you disagree with child murderers."
David Hogg: "Well that's my opinion and that's yours [sic] I respect and understand both."
TrumpyBear: "Lol this kid, "my opinion is that every gun owner is a child murderer" but let's all get together and have an honest discussion. Got a lot to learn buddy.

Re: Florida shooting
Does seem odd to organise a walk out from a gun free zone.

Re: Florida shooting
You see the irony of NY Governor and Bernie Sanders participating in the protest?
Surrounded by armed guards. It's okay for me, but not for thee.
Bloomberg with his 12 armed ex-NY detectives. You can bet Soros has his armed details.
Hollywood celebrities at the Oscars protected by men with guns.

The parents of these kids should get involved also. They have the vote. The kids don't.
