It always cracks me up when people say "the US really needs to introduce a dollar coin" when in fact three different versions are already in circulation.

Also, Monty Python is hugely popular in the US and has been since the 70s.

My husband never uses coins...empties them out into various containers in his study. Earlier in the year I decided to cash them in...15 years worth of coins came to over $1K. He suggested we went 50/50...not a chance...finders keepers.

The dollar coins are all smaller than the JFK 50 cent piece and millions were made. They're uncommon because no one wants them.
