In that case I thank Jeff Key for his service but one has to be careful of these videos and suspect that they may be the work of politically motivated mischief makers with agendas to place supporters of a democratically elected President in embarrassing and awkward situations.

It's more complicated than that. Gabbard is a pain the ass Democrat on her best day; always picking fights with them. I hate/love her. I think she's engaging and I admire her balls. On the other hand, some of the shit she says -----> But she did rock the white power suit and that ain't nothing.
The point is that she's divisive and therefore the Russians like her and they are doing their thing so there is a real footprint of their support. What Gabbard does about that is up to her. In a way, it looks like what happened with Jill Stein. Clinton, knowing all of this, chose to be a bomb thrower because the two of them are in a pissing contest. It is all troubling though if you think about it. This is what the Russians do, everybody knows that and they'll never stop, but this is what it looks like when they go unchecked. I'm not going to go over the whole Russian thing again as it's so overblown. The Russians are going to interfere, as is every other country, as they always have. It's just so tiresome to have this implication, that because the Russians like a candidate they are automatically bad. Rich people like Buttigieg because he is looking out for their interests. It would be nice if we could do something about the influence of American oligarchs before worrying about Russian ones. |

To think there is some source of truth strikes me as deeply worrying, now we can certainly argue how bad the different sources are and I do not put WaPo in the CNN category.
My impression is that things have got worse but no obvious way of measuring this, well in my time, the DriveBys were obviously much worse historically. |

There was enough smut and behind the scenes crap to make a two hour porn movie but did the WAPO go after him with the same vigilance that they went after Nixon and now Trump? If they did I haven't heard of it. There is absolutely no getting away from it. The WAPO is and always has been politically orientated towards the left of American politics and I don't see any sense in you continuing to argue the matter.

I need some examples of where these media outlets have told lies. If they're not LYING then quit crying. Even FOX news has a right to exist except for when they're LYING.

Does every politics thread have to consist of DC Koop saying something dumb/wrong and then everyone showing how dumb it was?

Personally, I think it's good to have different voices on the debate stage, so I like to hear from Gabbard and Yang, even if I don't agree with everything they say. One thing that Tulsi does very well is when she goes after someone it's effective. She did it to Harris before and she did it to Buttigieg this time.

I agree with everything you said except I don't think the Russia thing is overblown. If it weren't for the Russian thing, we wouldn't be having this conversation. I do not believe that Gabbard has done anything untoward but she will never completely shake the stink of them now that they've rubbed up against her.

So we've now moved from your "You claim Fox News is propaganda. I claim MSNBC is propaganda. The WAPO could very well be in the same category as MSNBC" to the "WAPO is and always has been politically orientated towards the left of American politics". That's quite a bit of goalpost-moving even for you.
