The article quotes a business owner, a progressive woman of color. She didn’t vote in 2016, and won’t vote in 2020, because she doesn’t like the choices.
What - she’s not going to vote for her house representative, senator maybe, state and local races, just because she’s not interested in the presidential choices? This election is going to come down to 'just how much do you despise Trump?'. I happen to despise him so much that I'll vote but I can't say I'm excited about Biden! |

Because what she's saying is true. It's all water under the bridge, there's no point in discussing it now, but she's explaining how, instead of what could and should have been, many people, like her, are having to hold their noses and vote for Biden.

He is already laying the ground work for not accepting the results, which is troubling. |

That is a major drawback of a two party system. I would like to use a comparison with swimming. Voting for Biden is like treading water, while voting for Trump (or not voting at all) is like voting for keeping a boot on your head. Nobody can tread water forever and will eventually drown unless rescued, however if you don't get that boot off your head pretty sharpish you can guarantee drowning sooner rather than later.

Re: 2020 Election
If this does not get the voters off their chairs what will?A 25-year-old man was identified Tuesday as a suspect in the vicious beating of a pickup truck driver in Portland over the weekend.
Police allege Marquise Love assaulted the victim — identified by family as Adam Haner — following a crash on Sunday night. Disturbing footage showed a group of Black Lives Matter protesters appearing to force Haner to crash before pulling him out of his vehicle. A police spokesman said Love was identified by multiple sources, including the video. Haner has been released from the hospital and is recovering, cops said. One witness told Fox News Haner had been defending a transgender woman from being mugged when the mob turned on him. https://nypost.com/2020/08/18/police...river-beating/ |
Re: 2020 Election
I see a single person assault him, and he has already been identified.
