Every group is a constituency. And every voting block is an identity political group. A politician can write off women voters by saying certain political concerns are nothing more than lesser priorities because they are gender politics, aka identity politics. But to do so despite that voting block being split would result in ignoring a powerful voice at the voting booths. Times are changing, groups are getting larger and our ways of defining those groups will evolve as well. |

For gods sake stop banging on about dementia. If you want people to read your posts, they need to be entertained. That means you need to supply NEW STUFF.
Wouldn't pence in his first term if anything happens to Trump be pretty much the same only acting serious and presidential and not act the goat? With Biden's pick you don't know and he can't focus on that what if he has to focus on himself. |

Well when we thought we were in sniffing distance of a call seems like it has been delayed for a week or two.

Biden might be too old for this. Forget the dementia or not dementia issue for a second. Biden is nearly 78 years old he was born November 20th. He would be the oldest ever first term president. IF for whatever reason he does not complete a full first term making him the first president since JFK to not to do so his VP is president and takes the oath of office. That is a big question because who does america get after Biden?. Harris the second black president in 10 years and the first woman. Michael Bloomberg second billionaire president? Lance Bottoms the youngest president for a long while perhaps etc etc? And what about the agendas. Biden has his agenda. What is their agendas and what if they are different? Big unknown question.

Grubby? Like money laundering and tax fraud? Because that's what Trump is being investigated (he's fighting the subpoenas and losing) for in NY? Most of it collected from the public record. Are you going to comment about the "grubby" stuff that Trump has done? Like screwing and paying off porn stars and/or hanging around with the Epstein pedophile ring? Perving over his own daughter? Raping his ex-wife? Cheating on the FLOTUS while she was home with a newborn baby? Stealing from his own charitable organization? I could go on for days. How "grubby" does Trump have to be before you'll comment? Oh wait, I already know. He could be raping your daughter and you'd be complaining about the time Obama wore a tan suit. You live in a magical world. What's it like to be in a cult? |
Re: 2020 Election
Is there any politician who doesn't have something vaguely grubby in their past? Well Obama didn't as far as I know yet he still had to spen years dealing with the birth certificate nonsense. Ruling someone out because they farted 20 years ago seems a bit pointless.

Re: 2020 Election
Talking of VPs I see Pence kept himself busy last week by talking to the group the "alien sperm" doctor is part of. Meanwhile, we're averaging 67k new infections a day.
"Pence's meeting with the doctors came after the group’s physicians spoke in a Monday video in front of the Supreme Court building, claiming that masks are not needed to prevent COVID-19 spread, and that hydroxychloroquine was a cure. President Trump retweeted the video before it was removed. " https://thehill.com/homenews/adminis...se-coronavirus |

Re: 2020 Election
Biden does well to keep his choice of VP quiet for as long as possible.
Whoever he picks will be the target for tonight for the reps and will have lovers and haters in the dems as well. Any potential VP and President in waiting will attract and repel some, best leave it as late as possible and let Trump do what he does, demonstrate just how insane and dangerous he can be. |
