Amazing demos across the country tonight.
He said he would give Rudy and Newt cabinet spots. Or somebody released that from his campaign. It's all becoming a blur. I'm sure the Breitbart gremlin will be Secretary of Information.

Yes, the demonstrations are amazing.

But what about Ted Slimy Cruz? What position does he get?

He didn't kiss the ring enough. He'll probably get Secretary of Toilet Scrubbing. It is being floated that he would be nominated for the Supreme Court in a Trump presidency.

Or we'll see what he gets next time he's up for election.

I'd prefer more organized demonstrations on Inauguration Day.

It is always interesting how people who claim they are opposed to people who are intolerant are so intolerant themselves to others with different opinions. Having lived in the Bay Area saw this quite a lot.

I am unsure what the productive purpose of such demonstrations are.

Actually, if Trump's economic policies get through Congress we could see GDP growth within 18 months of between 3 - 4%, which should help your retirement accounts.
No, you're absolutely right. You'll note that my post was from the very early morning, I quite wrongly thought there'd be a major market sell off, of course we know there wasn't. These early reactions (if and when they occur) are always irrational. My general point remains valid though - if retired people keep their accounts diversified, and can afford to just take a reasonable proportion of their balance as income each year, then they obviously ride out ups and downs in markets..

About what ?

Are you saying the people protesting are tolerant of people who have different views ? I remember living in Bay Area the intolerance of so many of anyone didn't have a PC vision of the world, so protests there just remind me of that intolerance.

Or students I hired from UC Berkley who told me that in class they had to be very careful what they said in class if it different from a leftist point of view. Hardly a university known for being open-minded towards different points of view.
