The reactions to so many establishment Republicans dumping Trump are pretty interesting. So many voters seem to think that Trump is running on some kind of anti-political-corruption platform just because most of the GOP hate him, and all the corrupt GOP members are exposing themselves by publicly denouncing Trump. There is so much denial going on in their heads that they are making it up without even realising it.

The establishment in both parties have a fear of Trump who would upset the conventional thinking of both parties that has led to the current state of affairs. Clinton is a perfect candidate for those who want more of the same. I think both candidates in their own way could be termed reckless and unfit to be President.

By "the establishment in both parties" do you mean "rational people"?

Didn't you know? 'The Establishmentâ„¢' is a sinister group of lizard people who want to suck out our brains and bomb random civilians. But it's OK, if you wear your BacoFoil hat and vote Trump, they all go away.

Nobody is worried about Trump "upsetting the conventional thinking" of anything.

Trump has now replaced his joke of a tax plan with Paul Ryan's joke of a tax plan.

You mean the "conventional thinking" tax plan? The standard GOP line? The one that actually epitomizes "conventional thinking" ?

In the dictionary, next to "conventional thinking", you will find a picture of Paul Ryan's tax plan.

Yes, haven't you seen how well it worked in Kansas.

As an aside, I was just in KC during their state primary last week. Moderate Republicans swept the primaries with something like a dozen sitting representatives lost their seats.

One and the same. The one where nobody gets any government welfare (except corporations) and everybody pays their fair share (except billionaires).

I hardly believe the establishment elite are such rational people, they keep recommending the same approaches that have brought about the current situation in the economy and global affairs. Doesn't mean Trump is rational just upsetting to establishment who see that the public is getting fed up.
