Sanders is attracting more than his share of the low information voter. There is a minority of his support who are a bit dodgy.

Sadly, Trump is turning the Repubicans into a fascist party. Sanders said today that if he was in the office instead of Obama, nobody would've asked for his birth certificate, because he is white.

Considering the hostility, slurs, and bigotry Obama has endured during his Presidency, I don't think we will see another black president leading this nation, for a very very long time!

Yeah, Sanders has said that about his birth certificate numerous times, he's like a broken record. The suggestion the Republicans are racist is a bit rich, it was the Dems who enabled slavery but used the proceeding 150 years to successfully create the impression it was the Republicans. The Dems as a party have never publicly acknowledged this or apologized for it but that doesn't matter to privileged lefties and Hollywood liberals like Morgan Freeman as he provides voiceovers for Hilary Cliinton's campaign ads that keep appearing on my TV screen every 5 minutes

As for Sanders' flat out refusal to tell his supporters to stop infringing on Trump's constitutional right to free speech, I can't say I'm surprised. He's miles behind Hilary so needs every vote he can get, even if it's from self entitled trouble makers who want to shut down free speech because it contradicts their rose tinted specs view of society

Most of the Sanders supporters who say they will sit out if Sanders loses...seem to be the young Uni crowd. Not surprising for that demographic to lose interest when their hero is gone.

Shhhh...madpooper will have a brain cramp. Especially do not remind him that the protesters were excercising their freedom of speech and right to assemble. And never tell him about the heavily armed right wingers that showed up at Obama rallies to, no doubt, intimidate.

Young people don't tend to vote anyway, so would any of them actually have voted regardless.

If Clinton really does need these voters to win,then she has a big problem.

But yes I'm sure Bernie will tell them to vote for Clinton, but more so to help down the ticket.

If Bernie believes what he stands for he would be a fool not to.

He has already said he wouldn't run as a third party candidate to prevent splitting the liberal vote.

I don't understand the self righteous indignation here. Why should Bernie supporters automatically vote for Clinton? She has to earn their votes.

But Sanders was the first major campaign to get 'attacked' by the Black Lives Matter protesters, which is pretty ironic. Is there really any proof that those protesting Trump now are Sanders supporters?

I don't think anyone on here is going to disagree that the Dem's were the party of racism in the past. It's a well understood fact. But it's also true that those racists left the Dems and joined the R's as a result of the civil rights movement. They were actively courted by the Rs as a source of votes, and it explains a lot about the R's today. There's no question in my mind that today, the R party is the racist party.

Aside from the fact they were all wearing shirts or carrying signs with his name? There likely were others too but Sanders supporters were the vast majority.
