I wonder if the Williams sisters would still look as sexy if they were green?

Yeah, sorry about that, I'd been in the pub since 12 and it was a loooong weekend!

I don't think they care mate, much more interesting talking about how Mo Farah is actually a Furriner and how the darkies are good at sport!

Afraid your poll is out of date.

I imagine that poll will also include quite a number from the Southern areas who have settled there, so the figures are likely even more impressive than they appear.

Seems a quiet day up to now for GB, scratching about for silvers and bronze just when ŵe were getting to enjoy the gold rush.
Expect there's better to come incl one from the horsey toffs.

Edit the horses have got a gold, brilliant.

If Catalunya go, then so would the other regions and there would be no Spain left.

One way to get rid of the national debt, they'd be no one to bill too

Spain doesnt exist on its own, its a just a collective of these different societies anyway. Asturians are about as similar to Andalucians as British people are. My wife felt like more of a foreigner there than in London. While my Catalan friend feels like a foreigner in Madrid - and my Basque friend has a son who can only speak Basque and English, not Spanish

Although British people dont believe it, Spain is incredibly varied and multicultural

I think the scoring in the womens 20K track race in the Omnium is confusing even the commentators.

Damn, I missed it. I love the showjumping, I used to ride when I was younger and have the utmost respect for anybody willing to go over those enormous fences!

Nick Skelton seems to have been around for ever, I can't believe he's (only) 54. Good luck to him in the individual event, his horse Big Star is brilliant so they must have an excellent chance.

The Bikers are certainly doing the business.

If they continue like this they'll have enough gold to replace what the other G.B. mucked away.

And due to the rules nowadays, we are only allowed one entrant, so we had to leave out Chris Hoy! How many countries would love to have had him! Great for Kenny, a nice, unassuming guy, does all his talking on the track.

The way he is jumping I think so but you just never know, add a horse into the mix and anything can happen.

Well she certainly wasn't in the first eight, somehwere way behind. She hasn't been the same since her drug scandal, she can now concentrate on her politics, being a pepera.
