And Ben Ainslie did it again. Have to watch Pennington, she if she can deliver again. She looked good in the first round.

Andy Murray beat Roger Federer to win gold!!! In straight sets!!!
I think that shows real strength of character, to come back on to the same court and play like that, against the same opponent, after the disappointment of losing the Wimbledon final only a few weeks ago. It should really help his confidence and self-belief for the future.
I can't imagine what it must be like to have to go on and play the mixed doubles final straight afterwards, but good luck to him and Laura Robson. I wonder why they didn't schedule the womens' doubles final to come in between?

Bolt does it again, 9.43 (adjusted) and the first 5 did it in the fastest time for each of their places ever! World records are literally tumbling at these Olympics, as much as it pains me to say it, I hope the USA win a few more to knock the cheating, cruel Chinese off the top.

Good to see a silver and bronze in the gymnastics, that would have been unthinkable a few years ago. Still maybe a few more to come in the velodrome.

Sorry Lion, I meant Andy Murray but yeah, Lewis Smith was so close, don't quite understand why he did lose but then I don't really understand the complexities of gymnastics scoring.

Congrats Galen Rupp from Oregon USA for your silver in the 10,000 meter. And oh yea your friend from Somalia/Great Britian on the gold.
Also trained in Oregon.

Interesting, what sort of things are they saying? I saw some comments about negroes having different bone density to whites, which makes them better at running but worse at swimming.
