You should've seen the size of them..............about an inch in diameter

(Oops, probably get jdr on here in a minute, whingeing and moaning that I'm not speaking metric!
)The northern part of Extremadura is the area where all the best Spanish cherries come from
It's a 2 hour drive from here, but it's well worth it.
I've been twice in the last 3 weeks

I'm sure Andy will really appreciate it.
I can't wait until we can have an oven
Then I'll be able to make veggie pasties and apple pies, to try out on my Spanish friends. At the moment, all I can make for them is cornflake cakes (which they love!)
Did you see I sent you a PM?

Aah, bless

"They" won't thank you for that though; they'll want to know what I've done to be treated as an exception!!
Shall we tell them, or not???

So ...... our friends who stayed overnight pulled the front door too as we were taking them to the station, and yes ..... there were a set of keys on the inside of the lock so we couldn't get back into the house.
I call the Sol Bank help line at 11 am who say they will get a lock smith out to me. At 1 I have to go to Gandia. At 2, theres no one arrived and we're both sat by the pool where the temperature has reached 35. At three I call. Somehow the callout has been cancelled. They'll get someone there soon. At 4 I call, hes finishing up in Gandia and will call me. We're still out on the pool area waiting for him.
At 4.45 I get a call from the Carpentaria who's on his way and will be there in 20 mins. A Carpentaria ..... I explain that I want a locksmith. He hangs up, never to be heard of again.
I get my own lock smith here in 45 mins.
So ...... I spent 6 hours or so out on the pool area waiting for a locksmith who turned out to be a carpenter and I'm not a happy man
