Hey, glad I've found this thread - I have a 'whizzle and gringe' as my husband puts it.

Some new Brits have recently moved into the village...and instantly frightened old Mercedes with their big dog. The dog went up to sniff her, as they do, she was frightened and shouted at the dog.

Now the Brits are all ar$y because she shouted at the dog.

And this is my whinge...WHY do dog-lovers insist that everyone else loves them too? I personally don't mind dogs, but I don't want them coming up and sniffing me and invading my space unless I've invited them. I wish their owners would keep them to themselves.

And to take umbrage because an old lady who has lived here all her life shouted at it....well imho they should be apologising and making amends for their bad manners.

I don't think they will last long. There are other issues. They should have gone to a Brit enclave on the coast.

:curse::curse: Rant over!

P.S. Tried sharing out karma but the damn thingie keeps telling me I've got to spread it around more.....don't have a clue what it means and don't want to get hyper about that too, so sending much love and thanks
Hi Martha,

I have thought about you a few times over the weekend being stressed out last week. I hope you had that hot bath and have managed to chill out a little bit.

Mitzy, I hope things are getting better for you and hoping you are enjoying your weekend.

Hey Sam,

Thanks for the good thoughts!

I'm doing great. Had a good weekend and just got back from a bike meet in Javea. It was great fun riding around with other bikers and seeing all the different custom beasts. I'm just about wiped out now, but content and tired is better than stressed and tired

Thanks again for thinking of me!

Do you ever go to the Harley shows in Monte Gordo in Portugal? They have a massive one every year around this time. In fact a bar has now opened there called "The Harley Davidson Bar".

No wonder my ears were burning yesterday morning

Michael is pushing now for me to get my A license, so I will have to look into taking it here in Spain. I've found the perfect bike. All I need now is to find €25,000. Anyone care to contribute to my bike raising fund???

There will be a big meet starting this Thursday, 21st June and for 4 days in Fuengirola, but it's only for Harleys and we've just got a modest Yamaha, so not invited to ride with them . But we will have a few of the HOG (Harley Owners Group) giving out Michael's airbrushing cards. They are kind enough to do that for us at least

P.S. love the photos jdr!

Never been to Portugal. Would love to make the trip one day......soon hopefully! The problem with the Harley meets/rides is that the Chapters don't allow other bikes....they are very exclusive, which is kind of sad....but that's the way the cookie crumbles I guess.

Our next big trip will be to Barcelona and that will be more work than pleasure, but at least we'll be riding the beast

Im in for one big moan today,Im really P****d off. I signed up for MSN hotmail yesterday ,all went well ,Iv been trying since to get into it,can I?? NO. This bloody Norton has a lot to answer for,I keep getting a message " The security certificate for this site has been revoked. This site should not be trusted " it flashes up with a red enjine error
Well Iv been into the Norton several times run a live update thats supposed to put problems right, has it ? NO
So Iv sent a message to the support team, they are going to get back to me in 24 hours I ask you 24 hrs, whats all that about If they dont get it sorted out soon,Im off to delete it off my lappy and install AVG, the flippen Norton cost me 60 quid and its been nothing but trouble,I had this bother when I tried to access the pay-pal site, but that was sorted by running the update.
I mean how can MSN not be a secure site, its making me er by the minute.

We had so many problems with Norton, that in the end we deleted it from our system altogether and loaded AVG. We had over 6 months left with Nortons, but just couldn't put up with all the problems it was causing on our system:curse:

If you need help let me know as I've already done it. You'll need to download something on to your pc. You'll struggle to get rid of everything but you'll manage most of it.

I installed AVG also ... I've used it for years but Norton was preinstalled on my new PC. Norton & AOL ...... take over your computer

Cheers Mitzy, yep I think I may need some help,I dont think just uninstalling it from add/remove programs is enough to get rid of it,should I download AVG first before I start removing the Norton crap?? I wish I never put it on in the first place, but Id just got the lappy and the 60 days of free was about to run out and at that time I was not sure how to download anything so I just bought this norton 360 so I was covered.........Cheers and Thanks

Dont have AVG and Norton running at the same time. You can download AVG, but don't run it until you have removed Norton. That does leave you open for a short time of course. I'll try and dig the removal tool out and the instructions I had and pm them to you
