Just got back home from a bar and walked here without jacket and not cold so looks like things are picking up (again (that's tempting fate!)).

I'm back in the Uk for a couple of weeks - had a lovely day today walking around Spalding in Lincolnshire in the lovely warm spring sunshine - even had a pub lunch sitting outside.
Rang OH this evening listening to his tales of woe about yet more rain, thunderstorms and wrapped up in front of the fire!!
(I've offered to start house-hunting here tomorrow
)

Its lovely here, mild and misty today, great growing weather, all the veggies are up and my patio would take first prize at the Chelsea flower show. Valencia has of course the best all round climate in Spain and I should know I've lived in this province for almost 18 years.

Was told when I first arrived that April was usually the wettest month of the year here, so could be a wee drop more to come yet.
Ah well,suppose it saves on the water bill.
My Spanish neighbour has the right idea,..converted his pool into a Duck pond,...at least they are enjoying it.

Best all round climate for what?
Suppose all the local paddy fields and never ending supplies of paella should have given me a clue.
