Default It's raining, it's pouring; this is getting boring....

What it says on the tin. How much longer can this go on? Lulled into a false sense of security by about two half days of sun and an increase of temperature, only for the skies to open bigtime AGAIN.
Computer other end of house from likely leaks. I'm going to check. I might be some time.

I'm really fed up with it, just when you think its all done and summers on its way - it tips down again. It hasnt stopped since yesterday evening. Dogs muddy paws messing up the floor, have to dry the washing indoors, the driveway looks like its flooding again.......

Last year at this time the kids were in the pool and I had sunburnt visitors!!!!

It's only March people! You still have the 40 days of May rain to get through first!
Brilliant sunshine today in the UK (although it rained/drizzled most of yesterday).

40 days of May rain?

only 31 days in May, so doubt you'd manage that even in the UK

it has been a very wet winter here in Spain though

HARRUMPH. Between Dec 16(ish) when they turned the tap on, and end of Feb, there were apparently just NINE days without rain. Have to say I'm not sure exactly where this stat relates to, but it was a 'neighbour' from about 15km away who told me

As to a wet summer - well I wouldn't mind putting in a request for rain from about 1.30am-5am followed by the usual dry days; that way the surface would have time to dry but the plants wouldn't frazzle. Anyone have any influential friends 'up there'

The temperature is warming up though isnt it.

Yesterday was great until the clouds came over.So much warmer outside than in.

Was around 24 degrees with a lovely warm wind.

If only. I've always thought that the weather systems need a really good organiser.

True, never understood this. You go outside and have to take off the fleece

We have had some holidays in St Lucia and it was torrential rain every day for about an hour before sunrise. Great as it kept all the plants etc. so lush.
