Who's going to win?
For the first time in many years, I don't think Spain are favourites to win this tournament. Many of their players have been stretched to the limit over the last few seasons, and besides, other teams have developed ways to play against the tika-taka style.
There are many contenders to win the tournament. People tell me that Russia and the Czech Republic have strong teams. Italy, Spain and France cannot be ruled out. England? No chance, in my opinion, although I certainly hope I'm wrong. My tip, a boring one, is that Germany will take the title, but it won't be easy. It could well be a classic tournament.

A glimmer of hope for England, as their first opponents France struggle to beat Iceland

I reckon our only slim hope is if no bugger else turns up.

I am as interested in this as I am in the olympics
I am suprised it is being held in a country which is overtly racist.

Right enough.

Then the next World cup in Russia, just as bad.

8.30 panorama this evening.
"Stadiums of Hate" in Ukraine and Poland, some shocking Nazi type scenes and even Nazi training camps for so-called fans.
Little wonder only 3,000 England fans are booked to go as against 100,000 at the last one.
Beyond comprehension how these places could ever have been chosen as the venues.

Just watched Stadiums of Shame. Football is a disgrace, whatever people say about rugby the scum and chavs that call football as a sport should hang their heads in shame and the crooked, devious, underhand mafiosi who run world Football deserve to die in a horrific way and Poland and the Ukraine deserve to be bankrupted over their failure to deal with the fascists and fascists in their ranks and the shame of the police who don't give a shit. People are training as we speak to murder non whites who, and I quote... "dare come to their country"

Euros Spain, Germany and Netherlands are favourites in that order and rightfully so. I reckon Italy are in with a chance this year. There my outsiders. England not a chance, longball hoof upfront to Andy carrol. Backwards step...no chance...

Haven't seen that yet but will download. Did you see the Ross Kemp gangs program from Poland? Some of the things said by the people he interviewed were terrible. Along the line of 'Nazis didn't do a good enough job as they left some alive...'.

Christ, what's happened to the young people of those eastern European countries? Waving their nationalist flags of hate at football matches. Our mob of UKIPS and BNP are pussycats compared to those monsters.
We might want the foreigners out as well, but we don't want to kill them. Thank God we've got the EU to keep some sort of order, otherwise we'd all be at war again.

and I can be called racist when I ask why we have allowed some of these countries to join the EU with the remainder on the subs bench waiting the call.
they will all be travelling from the UK to see their team play, with their JSA being paid.

I watched it too - there's not a hope in hell I'd go anywhere near this tournament. I was left feeling physically sick and had to turn it off in the end.
