Vicious and hungry!!

We had a good mozzie free week in Esuri the last week in April until the last night we were there. We had diligently sprayed the terrace of the apartment where the mozzies seemed to collect but......we forgot to use the plug-ins and on the last night some of the little blighters decided to pay us back. My husband just got 3 small bites - nothing to speak of but ..... they had a go at my face. I must have been laying on my left side in bed and the right side of my face was the only part exposed. I had about 5 bites which swelled considerably. This lasted for about 5 days, was most unpleasant and I had to make a trip to the doctors. So to everyone out in Esuri do make sure that you protect yourself from the mozzies. I would say that plug-ins at night are a must!!!!

Thanks for all the info on books.[/quote]Only if you have got leccy!

Everyone, Don´t forget there´s a one hour time difference between Portugal and Spain. For those who land in Faro. (one hour=60 minutes)
Sorry, but you are the sad one if you think trying to help is wrong.
Make sure you don`t turn up at the airport and find out you are 12 hours late. ;-)) lmbo.

The local currency is the EURO, and this is the symbol for it: €

about local solicitors i will advise you to be very careful with who you chose, there are a law firm who their main solicitor is a girl from Colombia, she is not a bad person but would you chose a solicitor from another country to deal with a complicate law issue... for my work in the bank i have dealings with very much all of them and to be honest i would only suggest 2 law firms, even if they are slow giving answers and bad in communications or do not have an office in Ayamonte in the other case.... their names have been mentioned in this forum and i would be happy to give it to who wants to ask.
Coming from another country doesn't mean you don't understand complex legal issues, this is surely dependant on your ability and language skills. I was born in India but grew up and educated in the UK. As it happens I studied law and could therfore have pracitised in the UK if I so wished.

I am told one of the brothers at MP Solicitors studied law in the States does that mean he can't practice in Spain?

Could you tell us who you would recomend?

Hi,
Surely studying law as a degree does not make anyone a lawyer. It is the country where you take your articles which will determine where you practice.
I know someone who has a degree from Harvard who took his articles in the U.K. and now works in a large firm of lawyers in London.

My point exactly, it is not where you are from or where you have done your your degree that qualifies you to practice in a particular country. It is the fact that you adhere and qualify under the rules and regulations of the Law Society of the relevant country that entitles you to practice.
