Maxine,
we completed on 'Albatros' (Rago 3), phase 1, late last year and are waiting for defects (snagging) to be completed. We also hope to be out over the next few weeks to check on kitchens/furniture delivery. PM me and I will forward what photos I have of phase 1, which you might find of interest, along with any other information I can give you about our experience so far.

Hi All

I have sent emails to the Lomas de Esuri (M2) addresses I have regarding the meetings to be held in March but just in case anybody has not received notification regarding them this is a just a gentle reminder.

19th MARCH 2009 Manzana 2
28th MARCH 2009 LOMAS DE ESURI INTER-COMMUNITY

If, like John and I, you cannot attend PLEASE do not waste your vote, Still have your "say" by giving your proxy vote to somebody you know who is able to attend. Please PM me if you need contact name/details of a person who will be willing to receive your comments and represent your views at both meetings.

All the best

Mel

What do you mean "advertise company names"? There is nothing wrong with recommending a company/website. It's only considered advertising if you own/work for said company or have some sort of other connection with it. Do any of those apply to you?

Many thanks to Bill and Claire, John and Carol for the info.

Thanks also to Mitzyboy for the clarification although I am still unsure whether I am breaking the rules by asking the question.

Hi Can anyone please recommend an English speaking financial adviser living near CE - that I can discuss all the 'stuff' (taxes/investment etc) associated with moving to or living in Spain OR Portugal.

If there is a local trusted expert - I would like to have a discussion.

Thanks

Jon

Hi Jon

Have you tried Terry Vaughan he is the guy who writes the financial page in the Oracle.
I do not know or have used him personally , but it might be a good place to start ?

Just to clarify.

Members are allowed to recommend a business/site/website as long as they are not personally associated with it.

Members are not allowed to use forum posts to advertise or tout for business. However if you have a business/service/home you are renting, etc you are quite entitled to put the details in your signature. That way every time you post your details are displayed. You can also put a link to your site in your signature as well as add a link to our links section. We also have a Connections forum so if you don't have a site but want to post about your business you can do it there and even link to it from your sig.

More details about sigs can be found in Rule 14 the Site Rules.

Many thanks for reading.

Blimey! 3 Messages deleted all at once, INCLUDING one from an administrator, JDR, of all the people!! Is there a problem lately? If there is one please let us know as we dont want to get our posts wrong.

I had a message deleted recently for 'advertising' even though I said I wasnt connected with the companies and was responding to a question on the site, about where to eat. I mentioned factually 2 places that had a New Years dinner .. and it was deleted. Hardly advertising actually as 1) I have no commercial connection .......and 2) (on the incorrect assumption that I was advertising) I've never heard of someome advertising the competition !!

I sensed that the administrators we frustrated about something ........and as they do a grand job on this forum and deserve thanking - I dont mind. But if there is an issue - please tell us about it.

Thanks

Jon

It was JDR that removed your previous post, he is no longer a mod on here by his own choice, and greatly missed
No, there is no frustration, the thread went off topic and that was the reason I believe the posts were removed
