New to this forum but am living in Ayamonte and noticed a launderette in Villa Real whilst shopping there yesterday. If you walk from the indoor market towards the Lidl supermarket its on the right hand side about half way between the two. Hope this helps.

I know this has been asked before, but we are looking for mid/high season car rental available from Faro Airport, which lets you drive in and out of spain. Can anyone recommend a good company with decent rates?

Hi

We used ZITAUTO last year 3 times, friends and family also rented from them, fair rates, cars fine and OK to drive in both Spain and Portugal.

We use Economy Car Hire Ltd. There is no excess and they give you choice of car hire companies to choose from at Faro. Also discount for regular bookings.
(I also get a free car eveyone time I mention them).

We use Economy Car Hire. They sub-contract to various other companies, but the price quoted, in sterling, is it. No excesses for going into Spain. (Have tried other, apparently cheaper, firms which have proved more expensive once 'extras' are added.)

Tried most and Zitautos have always had keenest prices (probably as they don't have much in the way of overheads as you meet the rep in the arrivals area by the coffee shop). Cars have been new models. They have a UK agent, Dovehouse Travel, who also quote another Faro based outfit. Think it is MasterKing but prices quoted seem to be the same for both Zit and King. Also pay in GBP so no exchange rate. Went over last week and had an almost new diesel Ford SMax (7 seats) for 5 days at a cost of about £160.

Hmmm, just checked Dovehouse Travel website and they no longer represent Zitautos. Must have happened recently as the Zit logo was displayed last time I booked. Zit can be contacted direct on 00351 2893 15559 but you'll need to pay in Euros.
