Fadesa must be loving this when they read the thread.
Sorry JDR, but can't agree with you on this. Whilst the situation regarding Fadesa is obviously serious, this thread of the Forum is not exclusively about them and the recent problems, and I think anyone should be free to raise any questions or comments they like about Costa Esuri.

I get fed up when people use the thread like a juvenile text service, but don't complain about it, because not everyone (obviously) feels the same way.

Well with that attitude it will take years to sort out I am afraid. ;-)

As usual, you have missed the point. Let me spell it out for you.

I was not decrying the valiant efforts of everyone in trying to sort out the Fadesa mess, I was questioning why you found it necessary to criticise others for raising issues APART from the Fadesa mess !

Surely this thread of the Forum is wide reaching enough to cover multiple issues. This is why so many of us choose to view this particular thread, rather than some of the other myopic threads on the Forum.

I haven`t missed the point at all, I would of thought the situation there needs more action amongst yourselves than worring about mozzies, people are trying to help and get things organized and being met with apathy.

Sounds like head in the sand to me. A good example of why no-one should complete without electric being supplied. At the best these systems go down during busy periods at the worst the developer pulls out leaving everyone up the swanee. Imagine the people who have to live there permanantly, not just a bit of a laugh and popping off to the nearest bar like holidaymakers is it!

The Fadesa Administration issue is obviously very important to many people who read/contribute to this thread, myself included. But I don't think posts on other issues, however trivial or even jovial should be precluded.

In fact it makes a nice change, at least it takes your mind of 'the sleepless nights issue' for a moment or two.

Personally, I would prefer all Esuri/Ayamonte posts on one thread, I don't have enough time to read several threads. Just my thoughts anyway.....

was there until about 15 july-ish and no issues... then again we have these wall plugs in every bedroom that use these 'blue tablets' you can buy at the supermarket .. always work...

biggest prob was Sis sitting back on a chair outside and discovering a frog!! certainly made her jump!

And if you actually read back through my posts regarding this issue I've tried to be as helpful as possible, using contacts that I have to pass on info. Why "shut up" a helping hand?
None taken.I didnt mean shut you up fortaleza.I ment they may want to shut up the people by getting some thing done quick as they may not want skellitons comming out of the cuboard.

Pretty irresponsible scaremongering journalism.

I hope that couple in the story feel pleased with themselves. How, in God's name, has that helped the situation? Are these people so dumb that they think Fadesa - with all their current problems - are going to look at that and say, "Shit, you know, what were we thinking? There we were concentrating on these people losong their jobs and the possibility of us dragging a couple of banks down with us due to their exposure to our debt when the REAL issue is a loss of rental earnings on Costa Esuri."

It's idiots like that who will never have any concept of the damage they have done to the area as a whole, not just the "eyesore" that is Esuri. (Their words not mine)

What you continue to fail to see is that one mans chrisis is another mans blip.

Not all of us are blessed with your oracle of forsight. Yes the article mis-reports. But you must understand ordinary working people have bought properties following all the correct advice and procedures and have been left in a very uncomfortable position. Yes firms go bust and that is a risk we take every day...but some of what has gone on the electricity in particular just compounds the concern and anxiety people have.

Frankly, a number posters here seem to feed off this.

In your position you could do much to help......the Oracle could be a great focus for bringing the various groups together....and with your inside track and contacts well it could make a difference. So how about it can you help rally and co-ordinate?
