Here in the UK, we have an indoor and outdoor thermometer....turned the heating off around 10pm, in the morning around 8am temperature outside -4 inside it was 14 degrees...the homes keep the heat far better.
In Spain it always feels cold in the winter once the sun has gone down...would be lost and very cold without the electric blanket at night.

Beautiful again today with temps around 20 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.
No heating on inside and going out soon WITHOUT my coat and scarf.

I saw a Spanish guy the other week wearing a T shirt which said "Hard work never killed anybody - but why risk it?".

Just a thought for all you folks shivering in Europe. I wonder what, if anything, happens to the Gulf Stream when you dump 600,000 tones of oil into it?
It must have some effect surely?
