Avoid the British when on holiday

I think you are way out of touch, though during the course of your normal 24 hours like most tourists and expat residents you are probably not aware what goes on well out of sight.
Binge drinking amongst young Spaniards has increased at an alarming rate in recent years and is a major cause for concern.
It is easy to find drunken Brits because they are always in full public view and letting their hair down on holiday as is the norm.
Furthermore the areas they frequent are well patrolled by the police who can take whatever action is needed at short notice.
Naturally most of the Spanish kids involved being local, keep well below the radar as they would soon be in trouble with parents or police if they did their binge drinking in public.
The secretly arranged bottle parties that very few except those in the know ever see are a far bigger danger with very young kids having uncontrolled access to strong spirits and no law enforcement officers on hand when trouble breaks out as it often does with regard to disputes and fights over the women etc.

You are so transparent

I can say with certainty from personal experience (and the public record attests to it) that Brits exhibit a certain uniqueness in the world.
That coming from a Brit that was raised in a typical Essex family - of humble means, clinging to very liberal values. In fact, I used to be the stereotypical Brit, too. Until I left - and realised that the world actually doesn't revolve around Britain, that everything not British isn't shite, and that much of what I'd been led to believe was incredibly narrow-minded - precisely what we seem to love to accuse everyone else of.
Just to clarify - there are a lot of things I respect about the UK - and certainly not all Brits are ignorant and arrogant. There are plenty of testaments to that right here.
But the poster you refer to clearly embodies the worst of ignorant arrogance the world has to offer. I have no sympathies for such people.
No doubt he'll be back to spew more of it shortly.

The vast majority of British are not like you were.

As a Brit ,I am more concerned about the behaviour of fellow Brits and the negative impressions some create than that of other nationalities.

I glad you recognised that subtlety. Nonetheless, it's not as though those stereotypes are some sort of unfair secret conspiracy to defame Brits. There is some truth to them, as blatantly illustrated in this thread, in the media, and in actual life.

Botellon parties were big a few years ago, maybe around 2005-2010 when the bars were getting more and more expensive and young people felt excluded from them
They have calmed down a lot since then
Young teenagers have always gone out and got drunk in Spain. My wife did so at 13 with her friends, meaning that at 18 they all had their drinking under control and getting drunk was something immature kids did
What shocks me about British culture is that there are drunk people across all the age categories behaving badly

But the things I've seen in Maga enter a zone of way, way, way OTT, and frankly, things get pretty creepy down there at times - like others mentioned - people pissing on each other, puke everywhere, people passed out on sidewalks, brawls, rapes, sex in the street, deaths from balcony-jumping, etc. It's somewhere beyond just 'fun'.

[QUOTE=Moses2013;11705253Even the way young girls dress would not be seen in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, unless they were prostitutes
[/QUOTE]
You seem to have some knowledge of prostitutes in those countries.
Let's face it all young Brits are the worst behaved abroad ,unless of course they are the offspring of the posters on this thread.

No Brits anywhere close to me and I spend much of my time with Spanish families, so I feel I get a very good insight into both their mindset and what is going on around the area.

.......and all Brits are to be avoided....apart from those who you feel the need to constantly remind that you avoid Brits.

I imagine you spend most of your time trying to figure out why people having a good time on holiday in Spain don't dress the same way as they do back home in N.Europe going about their normal daily business.
