Where the dry home and secure environment bit comes from I have no idea.

I assume you've got one too many spaces (asterisks) at the end.

In = batting (as in cricket)
dry = TT (Tea Total)
home = in (being at home)
in = the above are in (surrounded by) ...
to secure an environment = to bag

So, "dry (TT) home (in)" inside a secure environment (bag)

Hello all, I hope you don't mind me butting in here. I'm coming over from the Italy forum. dmu recommended me to come here. My thread is Help with Quiz Question.

I need help with a quiz question for a charity Christmas quiz which has been driving me mad for weeks. The answer is a (should be well known) stage play with an eight letter title. If I give an example, 'Hard cheese in the spring' (3,9) The Mousetrap. Or -ey (8,3) Journeys End.

The exact clue is 'Washer - or round object' (8)

War horse has been suggested but I think that's two words and I don't know where round object fits in.

If someone could help that would be great and apologies again if I've hijacked the thread. It's all in a very good cause. With all prizes given back to the charity which this year is Medecins San Frontieres.
