Default Any cryptic minds out there

I have been stuck on a cryptic crossword clue for several days now.

Here it is.

'Shades of Eleanor Rigby and Lovely Rita'

10 letters, 9th letter 'E'

Possibly beginning with an 'S'

Do you have any grace at all.

Why do you feel the need to make a sarcastic post on a perfectly innocent thread?

Where was the crossword?

I was trying with Beatles connections, but finally had to look at the spoiler.

Get over yourself, he did post a smilie with the comment, so people knew he was joking. Some people just have to look for the worse in every post by certain members..

The 'i'.

In my defence yer 'onor I am normally quite good at cryptic crosswords but like you I couldn't shift my mind away off The Beatles.

I might post more, harmless fun eh!

I think he can speak for himself but thanks for the comment.

It just irks me Mike now and again when almost everything put on this board ends in either a slanging match, abuse or some kind of negativity.

I posted in 'Siesta Time' which to me is a place to chill out.
