Thanks all for the above answers.

Here's one for today which I'm sure I've seen before. I'm actually getting quite annoyed I can' get it.

Books Disco with Timothy Edwards DJ? (1,5,2,3,5,2,4)

Damn I just got it

Spoiler:
A dance to the music of time

The answer to the clue below in Italics is 'people'

Can you work out how?

Twitter will broadcast in public

Only thing I can come up with is that a twitter reader is often called a peep in social circles so "peep will" = peep'l = sounds like people but it's dreadful, someone else can hopefully dissect it better.

Almost there, Taken! But... the verb "twitter" means "tweet" or "peep". Nothing to do with social networking, where the word would be "peeps" plural, not the singular. "Broadcast" is a cute way of saying "when spoken" - peep'll, as you say.

Cheers Guys.

A bit bloody obscure for my liking but I get the point (sort of)

Another one from the same setter.

Peak Hotel has gone, is derelict (4,6)

Hints for you:
Derelict represents disorder, therefore suggesting an anagram. The words preceding derelict contain 9 letters, not the required 10 for the answer. Where does the extra letter come from?

I agree but that's the clue.

Here's the answer
Spoiler:
High Season

Yes, the extra letter is h, being the abbreviation for hotel. The meaning is peak, which is a synonym of high season.

Here's a few more

Graces used in tea ceremonies (8) *H*R***S

Woman involved in international racket getting hauled up (5) C***A

Check form of transport in motionless state (9) R*S***I**

I have several ideas for each but they all link together in one corner and I can't make any of my combinations fit!

The first one I think is
Spoiler:
Charites. A Charis or Grace is one of three or more minor goddesses of charm, beauty, nature, human creativity, and fertility, together known as the Charites +char=tea

1st one's a bit obscure: cha (tea) + rites = Charites, also known as the Graces, Greek goddesses.

Last one: hint: a form of transport inside another word meaning motionless state, the resultant word meaning check (as in stop).

Still working on no 2.

The only thing I can come up with for 2 is CHICA although I don't know how it fits the clue unless it's something CIA related?
