Any cryptic minds out there
I have been stuck on a cryptic crossword clue for several days now.
Here it is. 'Shades of Eleanor Rigby and Lovely Rita' 10 letters, 9th letter 'E' Possibly beginning with an 'S' |

I was trying with Beatles connections, but finally had to look at the spoiler.:) In my defence yer 'onor I am normally quite good at cryptic crosswords but like you I couldn't shift my mind away off The Beatles. I might post more, harmless fun eh! |

I would never have got that. Heres another Gran's top cupboard containing pure yellow material. 2 words, 6 and 5 letters First word begins with 'G' Second word begins with 'P' and ends with 'S' |
