Any cryptic minds out there

I have been stuck on a cryptic crossword clue for several days now.

Here it is.

'Shades of Eleanor Rigby and Lovely Rita'

10 letters, 9th letter 'E'

Possibly beginning with an 'S'

Do you have any grace at all.

Why do you feel the need to make a sarcastic post on a perfectly innocent thread?

Get over yourself, he did post a smilie with the comment, so people knew he was joking. Some people just have to look for the worse in every post by certain members..

I think he can speak for himself but thanks for the comment.

It just irks me Mike now and again when almost everything put on this board ends in either a slanging match, abuse or some kind of negativity.

I posted in 'Siesta Time' which to me is a place to chill out.

;)Cheers, I chose to ignore his childish comment, I think the fact it was tongue in cheek was more than obvious, but I'll hardly lose any sleep over it.

Yes - I've just got it. The first word was easy enough but I only got the second word by utilising my awesome google fu in very creative ways.

I don't really know why some of it fits and I don't know what it means...

Spoiler:
rara avis

ETA I see Fred's got it as well - my reasoning for rara was different his.

Great minds huh Fred? I'm off to our old bar in a minute, remember it? It's their last Sunday. They made a really good go of it for a couple of years - he's a very good chef - but sadly there just aren't enough people around - too much hard work for too little reward.
