This happened in 1994 - he was not on a Sex Offenders' Register, there was no restraining order against him and he had committed no criminal offence by being there. It wasn't a Police matter, Sherlock. If any of the residents had assaulted him, they would have been arrested and charged.
Thanks for your wise advice from a safe, comfortable and naive distance.

It will simply feel like water on a ducks back in no time at all.
Now I wonder if you'd appreciate seeing my collection of war medals, could even put Gaddafi to shame.

Here's part of what I wrote in the following post.
" I make that post with a heavy heart, because I don't like the thought of permanent incarceration.
However, this is less a case of imprisonment and more a case of quarantining a serious disease, because that's what it is. A sickness that the abuser often passes onto his victims
I don't think that paedophilia should just be looked at as a crime, more that it is a crime committed by a sick person."

It's a flippant comment to underline the truth of the statement. Paedophiles can't be cured, they will reoffend, and society needs to be protected from them. They should be treated humanely, but never, ever let out.

I'm more sad that you are so quick to jump on me that you don't bother to read what I write.

Surely this is simply lifelong torture, which you oppose under any circumstances, (possibly much worse than briefer measures), in another guise.
As you are always very insistant on asking what you term as relevant questions regarding other posters statements, surely other posters deserve the same right ?

Ah,but that's not the point.

As for asking relevant questions, I'll be happy to answer them.
This wasn't relevant, and is simply an attempt to do a wind up.
