Pop down to Cebu island,..not much further, much cleaner , and not so much congestion with traffic etc.
The city there has many smaller pension houses that are cheap and you won't go hungry with all...

Hi robbo,...I'm not retired there yet, but i know a few Brits who are getting a bit worried. They are the ones who retired to live off their pension and that was all they had to rely on, no savings....

The rules have changed quite a bit since I brought my (now) wife over to UK from Philippines 7 years ago on a fiance visa. If your thinking of taking this route she will definately need her CENOMAR...
