Re: What would you miss in Australia?

Funnily enough we went to Manzes on Tuesday. I have never been to a pie and mash shop before and I found it a bit disappointing, it was a bit tasteless. I went to the Battersea Pie place in Covent...

Re: post a photo of a great day in Australia

My Dad, a life long rugby player and of course fan, spent 6 weeks over here during that World Cup and saw most of England's games, including the final. Because it was one of the best moments of his...

Re: Lots of Aussies living on rice

We had Quinoa last night for the first time and I can recommend it. Very nice change to rice and can be had sweet or savory.

Re: tesco/asda/next/primark

Why do you shudder at a UK supermarket and yet use supermarkets here without that same shudder??
We have been back in the UK since the end of May and will be here until the end of December. So far...

Re: tesco/asda/next/primark

This is just not true. Target's stuff is rubbish.
We have had clothes from Next that we have been sent as presents and then bought when we were in the UK, and they are head and shoulders above...

Re: Aborigines?

Judging by your level of written English, I think you should rethink that statement.

"That website is wrote by Aboriginals maybe it's a bit bias. The problems your mentioning are truly awful and...

I particularly enjoyed the trolling response to the original post and then the constant references to the yookay. Maybe he lives in Oztraya???

Re: New Australia tourism slogan

We're not as good at sport as we like to think we are.

Look, it's good here but.

We're nearly as good as America.

If you don't like Australia then...
