Ye cant generalise but just what others have told me/experienced.But the Principal has said its the same Canada wide, guess he must be spinning me a yarn.
Fraser report puts them high and locals...

All the school in the area say to get into Uni they need 80-90% because that is what the Unis want.They are results driven .

I know its St Albert wide and not just my sons school.
I am not putting it all on my son -read previous post to find that out.

My sons school expects 80% + and that goes for the whole of St Albert, and its not the level of work, they are 2 years behind the UK, its the amount.My son was on cloud nine to begin with he loved...

Actually OP, does realise the part we have played that's why we are getting the hell out of here.In UK we lived in a relatively affluent area but they let their kids be kids.There was no keeping up...

They didn't tell us they would guarantee, but have since found out that 80% + is what they expect, otherwise they advise doing the grade again.Yes its in a wealthy area, and not bothered about...

Thought about that but hubbys work is here so not an option.
In the Uk we were from North East beach in front of us and North Yorkshire Moors 20 mins away.Small community and family.

Nooo kids don't hang with each other without adult supervision, even a trip to local store, or friends houses etc.

UK is way more advanced than here, so issue isn't level but amount, and sitting...
