Re: Salary Packaging a car vs buying one in cash

We looked at for my company. Nice idea in principle but low k's make it crazy. Live in Bendigo and drive to Melbourne every day. Would work well.

Re: Advice on Shipping Companies

Boxes opened and resealed - if you sign this, they are baiscally saying that when you come to open them, if there is anything missing you have no come-back on the shipper as you agreed with the...

Re: Defacto - stat decs

Ok - general opinion. No, there is no way she can be made to complete it, unless you go to court which will cost you a lot more than using a professional migration agent.

And they do not have to...

Re: ADSL broadband

Hi Mark

e-wire - from what I know it's another service like optus whereby they provide a line for you - but it's expensive as they have to recoup their costs, and thus it's not worth it. Far...

Re: Melbourne ?

No way - just ignore it. I did when I lived here before and still do now. You'll get lots of it but when you shrug in a Carol Beer type way, they soon get the gist you don't give a shit....

Re: ADSL broadband

Working on the Belkin, since it's the newest, I'm guessing the model number is actually F5D8326? V2000?

This is what you need to do. All modern modem/routers have a 'thing' called uPnP. This is...

Re: Tescos coming down under?

Sorry - have to disagree on this, in our area of Camberwell, Surrey Hills etc. I fill up both petrol and diesel (although not at the same time as that would make me a muppet!) and while diesel...

Re: Tescos coming down under?

Isn't that so true. Lot's of it about. Only the other day one of the people in my company said she had told one of our clients she did not want to shop abroad because she believed it should stay in...

ISP = internet service provider, the mob who provide your internet access, in this case telstra/bigpond

Naked ADSL - where you just use your phone line for internet and NOT for an actual phone...

Re: ADSL broadband

May6be not ideal in that it will be slower, but not the the extent of the OP's original question. You may drop a meg or two of speed, but much depends on your original speed, type of router/modem,...

Re: ADSL broadband

As I said in my previous note, you may need to activate some settings in your modem. Tell me the exact spec (model number) of the modem (either the old or new one) and I'll tell you what to do.

Re: ADSL broadband

With something like UK Nova and their amount of seeds, I think this is not the issue. More likely you need to set up your modem properly - how old is it? You may need to activate uPnP or set up...

Re: Car Experts- 460,000km Too many?

Mileage is high but you take the impact of that as you see fit - basically, get a mechanic to do the simple tests like a compression test etc to see how the engine is holding up. It could do another...

Re: Speeding ticket South Australia

No - you are bloody kidding me? Is this true?

I drove to work this morning. And I have to admit I drove over 0 kmh. In order to move. Thus I did actually create speed, which I assume must of...
