Sitting outside last night in Brisbane in shorts etc was in the high 20's. Weird light at about 11pm. Was pitch black at 7:30 then seemed to get lighter...

Sunny and warm today.:)

Mountain biking. Not sure about Akatarawas, I havene't been there for about a year and then I was on a 250 honda. Makara peak is pretty good for mountain biking though.

True, some people love Wellington. It's not a bad place, just cold, wet, windy and grey.It has redeeming points, although none spring to mind. :)

I went for a bike ride around red rocks on Boxing...

No, five years... I could move somewhere warmer in NZ but why bother? My attitude is, if you're going to move to Auckland/Christchurch you may as well move to OZ.

Into our fourth day of shit weather now... All the New years eve celebrations were cancelled due to inclement weather.

It's not. I do a lot of cycling and surfing and the wind ****s me off big time. It's not too bad if you are travelling around in a car and not going out much.

The only people I know who defend NZ against OZ are kiwi's. Most other nationalities have a more balanced view on things.

I think I'll be going to Brisbane. I don't really see any reason to stay in NZ any longer. I doubt I will miss it much.
