I'd only really noticed 'My Number' before...

Anyway, I found them like a mix of Kasabian and Two Door Cinema Club and was pleasantly surprised....

Sunday. The Foals. Expected folksy, got rock. Pretty good.
Monday. James Bay. Not entirely my cup of tea but he gave it all and the sold out crowd was rapturous.

Last time Snow Patrol played here the ticket touts snatched up all the tickets within minutes.

On this occasion I got great seats but it's smack in the middle of a physics conference...

Went to an excellent gig last month. Hollywood Bowl.
The two couples behind us were on a first date.
Talked all the time. Didn't pay any attention, whatsoever, to the performance.
Glad they left...

Saw Richard Ashcroft this week in L.A.
Absolutely fantastic. His singing, his band, the energy, the soul.
Ended with Bittersweet Symphony.

One to remember.

Death Cab for Cutie were fantastic and the Santa Barbara bowl was possibly the best venue I've ever been at. (Sniff...Glasgow Apollo.)

We changed Foo Fighters from an arena to an open air venue...
