Last week we managed two in two nights. Ben Folds on Monday night, and then the Brianjonestown Massacre on Tuesday. Ben Folds was pretty boring, BJM were amazing, although they played for 3 hours, so we left before the end.

Next week, ELO at Hollywood Bowl.

Week after that, LUSH at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles.

Surprisingly, performances involving a 61 year old man dressed as a school boy are still legal in NC, so last Saturday night I went to see AC/DC at Greensboro. It was the first time I had bought a ticket specifically to see AC/DC (I saw them in or around 1988, but only because I wanted to see the supporting band, Dokken), and this time I bought a ticket because I wanted to see their new lead singer, a certain Mr Axel W Rose. .... It was a good show, great performances all round.

Saw Coldplay at the Pasadena Rose Bowl last Saturday. The tickets weren't cheap but I was happy to pay every penny for one

Went to see Echo and the Bunnymen, last night at the Regency in SF. They were brilliant, I've seen them 3 times now and this was by far the best. Hubby is a huge fan, and has seen them on virtually every tour since the early 1980's, he thought it was one of the best times too.

Ian Mcculloch was in fine form, and rather than the usual grouchiness was quite chatty and fun. Really great night out, it was worth battling weekday traffic to get into the city

Went to see Coldplay at the Linc in Philly a few of weeks ago.

I am suffering through Beyonce at the Linc on Thursday (gift for the wife!). Then Joe Rogan at the Tower Theatre on Saturday.

Saw Human League, Flock of Seagulls and more in August, I have tickets for The Pet Shop Boys in Oct and tickets for an 80's shindig in January, Altered Images, Bow wow wow, ABC, Thomas Dolby et al in Downtown LA.
