You guys are funny...there is terrible violence in the UK also and in general standards of behaviour in OZ are far better....i sympathise for those that have a bad experience but remember as migrants...

175 & Overseas Trip

If you are in OZ when 175 granted do you have to validate at an overseas embassy or can you just leave the country for a few days and then re -enter trying to keep costs down!!

Do you have to leave immediately or can it be a mont or two before you go depending on leave from work etc...the temp visa would still be valid

If you are in Australia on a temp visa an you are then granted a 175 permanent visa how soon after do you have to leave Australia to validate and return.

I stand by my statement rote learning is not beneficial....simple quantifiable testing at a young age has little purpose either as parent we feel quite comfortable at what stage of education...

Well that is simple....kids that can research...evaluate...formulate and present ideas in verbal and written form have more chance of success in the long term than kids that are educated by rote...

Reading the political speak that those comments were couched in do suggest the favouring of employer nominated visas. General Skilled Migration will take a hit as hinted at prior to this...
