Why did you decide upon Nanaimo in comparison to say Victoria? There would be more opportunity for you in Victoria, however, it is expensive (although not as expensive as Vancouver).

We were in the same situation as you. It makes you wonder how much the DMP is picking up!! As you say though, once you get the next brown envelope you'll not bother with what the DMP is picking up.
